What we store
- Your email address, from Google sign-in. Used to identify your account and nothing else.
- The video metadata you import: video IDs, titles, channel names, durations, and playlist positions from the Watch Later list you chose to export.
- AI classifications of those videos (category, one-line reason, confidence, topics).
- Your taste profile, if you filled in the optional quiz.
- Payment status if you subscribe once paid plans open. Card details live with our payment provider, a merchant of record; we never see them.
What we never touch
- Your YouTube password, cookies, or session. The collector runs in your own browser and only reads the playlist page.
- Your watch history, subscriptions, or any other YouTube data.
- Your playlists themselves. We never modify anything on YouTube.
The Chrome extension
The extension reads your YouTube Watch Later list only when you sync, from your own signed in browser. It sends video titles, channels, durations, and caption text to your own Watch Later Librarian account and nowhere else. Your access token is stored locally in your browser. The extension never reads other sites, never collects browsing history, and never sells or shares data.
How classification works
Video titles and metadata are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be sorted into categories. Anthropic does not train on this data. No other third parties see your library.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete everything removes your account and every imported video immediately and permanently. No grace period, no soft delete.
